More than a Museum
In an increasingly fragmented world, pop culture is a universal language through which we can build connections. Since opening our doors in 2000, MoPOP’s programs and exhibitions have reached over 12 million people!
Your gift fuels new experiences and celebrates the pop culture that connects our communities: from exhibitions exploring stop motion animation and the history of hip hop; to a young musician performing in public for the very first time on our Sky Church stage; and a drag camp instructor creating the inclusive space they wish they had as a young person.

“When a young person visits the Museum of Pop Culture and sees Grandmaster Flash’s original turntables for the very first time, they are immediately reminded of the way the music makes them feel.
They also learn how creative expression is a life-changing force, whether it’s music or filmmaking or game design. That’s the power of pop culture. ”
