midpak was up to no good at Sound Off! 2023, bringing down the house with the sinister and psychedelic “Evil Intention”. Sam Holman started off the set as a funky Dracula, wielding velvety-smooth electric bass guitar riffs that built a sense of dreadful anticipation. As Nik Jordan and Ben Kinney joined on guitar and drums, the performance escalated from spine-tingling, toe-tapping beats to an all-out head-banging Halloween dance party. All we can say is that midpak brought the juice. Give them a listen and let them take you on a hazy, swirling trip to another dimension.
