Celebrate the opening of Rebels + Icons: The Photography of Janette Beckman with a night that channels the streets, stages, and studios Beckman captures. Reminiscent of a classic NYC dance club, MOPOP transforms into a pulsing atmosphere of soft seating clusters, turntables galore, and vintage amplifiers—all soundtracked by a generational DJ showcase. Throughout the evening, hands-on activations (think gallery scavenger hunt and zine-making) invite guests to experience the exhibition as both photographer and muse.

Exhibition Scavenger Hunt: Explore the galleries and collect passport-style stamps at key stops to unlock prizes and take-home surprises.

Wheat-Pasting Station: Turn your creativity into part of the exhibition by wheat-pasting photocopies of Janette Beckman’s imagery onto the gallery walls with guidance from local artist Aaron Asis.
