Fashionably Undead is MOPOP’s annual Halloween party for horror fans who like their scares with a side of camp.
This year, the aliens have landed. Inspired by 1950s and ’60s alien-invasion films and retro-futurist sci-fi, the bash blurs the line between horror and science fiction with a gallery-wide alien scavenger hunt, UFO photo ops, movie trivia, and a costume contest with a $500 grand prize.
Get ready for first contact.

Celebrate the holidays at MOPOP’s December Member Morning with a movie matinee featuring Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Spend a cozy winter morning with your MOPOP Member community.
Coffee and pastries will be served, and you’re invited to explore our newest exhibitions, Puget Sound Stories: Seattle Music + Beyond and Jimi Hendrix: West Coast Seattle Boy, before the museum opens to the public.

9:00–10:15 AM: Enjoy complimentary holiday treats in Culture Kitchen, with all galleries and MOPOP Shop open for exploration and shopping
10:15 AM: Welcome remarks and movie start (runtime: 76 minutes)
12:00 PM: Movie ends
12:00–5:00 PM: Museum is open to explore!
