Learn more about our teaching artists:

D'Mon

D’Mon (he/him) is one of a kind in the Kiki Ballroom scene here in Seattle, known to be a ‘shapeshifter’ because despite being a transgender man he’s not afraid to show he’s a student to the art of femininity. He hopes to break barriers in ballroom by becoming the first ever Trans Man Female Figure legend one day.

He began drag in the Seattle nightclub scene walking Female Figure European Runway at the balls and quickly rose to the top with his unbothered attitude, shady antics, and clean footwork earning the title of both Seattle-Tacoma’s Kiki Scene Female Figure European Runway as well as Overall Runway of the year. He also currently holds the title of Prince of the West Coast Chapter of the Legendary House of Mattel and is the Seattle chapter’s Runway Captain.

Since rising to the top of Seattle’s Ballroom scene, he’s taken his drag off of the ballroom floor and expanded it to the local nightclub scene. He may perform under the same name everywhere, but his drag persona is a macabre juxtaposition to his ballroom identity. He now performs and wreaks havoc around the city as a full-time performer and produces two shows centered Faround crating spaces for QTBIPOC trans artists, alternative drag artists, and those who are not often represented in mainstream drag spaces.
