MoPOP’s education programs use the universe of pop culture to inspire curiosity, invite open dialogue, foster collaboration and creative thinking, and provide equitable access to all.

Our innovative exhibitions, hands-on activities, and interactive workshops help your students make connections between popular music, storytelling, writing, movies, comics, and your classroom curriculum.

If you can’t visit us in person, you can always bring our content to you with our virtual field trips and outreach kits!

To qualify, reservations must be made by a teacher (K-12, homeschool, college/university, etc.), school administrator, or designated parent representative. Special exhibition access may incur additional fees.

All education visits include an orientation and self-guided gallery access for the day. Enhance your visit by adding an in-museum workshop!

Education group visits are available during museum open hours. Workshops and livestreams are available Monday-Friday. Museum visits and programs must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

Transportation reimbursement is available to limited number of qualified groups. To be considered please complete the application form three weeks before your scheduled visit.

Add an in-museum workshop for your class of up to 30 students. Align language arts, social studies, science, music, and visual arts learning objectives through engaging hands-on, student-centered workshops. These 60 minute classes include gallery visits and suggestions for taking learning back into your classroom. Please note: workshops must be booked directly with MoPOP staff via email or phone.
