August 10–14, 8:45am–4:00pm, Grades 5–8

Were you thrilled to meet life-sized mobs in Minecraft: The Exhibition? Have you marveled at fantasy characters and creatures under the shade of a magical tree in Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic? Museums like MoPOP combine artifacts, videos, and interactives to create exciting exhibits. But how do they do it? Go behind the scenes and learn all the secrets of running a museum! Campers will work with the masterminds behind MoPOP’s exhibits to learn how we create them and then design and build their own exhibits. From choosing an idea and selecting objects to creating a marketing poster and planning an opening party, campers will work in teams to design their own exhibit, build scale models, and share their work with family and friends!

[Cancelled] - Advanced Music Program (AMP) at MoPOP

In partnership with Rain City Rock Camp

Rain City Rock Camp has decided that the best way to protect the health and safety of the RCRC community is to switch Summer Camp, South Sound Rocks, and the Advanced Music Program (AMP) to a virtual format. We are sad that we won’t get to see our amazing campers in person this year, but we’re also excited to explore new ways of gathering together online to support each other, express ourselves and make some music!
