Marvel-ous May Homeschool Day

Team up for a Marvel-themed Homeschool Day and help us transform MoPOP into Comics HQ!

Led by cartoonist and narrative designer Jen Vaughn of Haunted Vault Studios and inspired by MoPOP’s MARVEL: Universe of Super Heroes exhibit, you’ll learn some of the basics of comic book design, build a super hero from the ground up, and make a comic to take home.

^{Please note that the 2018 May Homeschool Day includes a special, discounted exhibit fee of $4.00 person (a 50% savings!) for the MARVEL: Universe of Super Heroes exhibit.}

Classes are suitable for students 6–14 years of age. Adults, you will also be active participants in the workshop, so come prepared to learn along with your student super heroes! Themed activities for younger siblings will also be available. MoPOP’s Homeschool Day programs include a two-hour workshop (broken into two, 1-hour sections) and an interactive gallery activity. Our May 2018 Homeschool Day program will include admission to all regular galleries AND the MARVEL: Universe of Super Heroes exhibit.
