Julian Schnabel (1996, R, 108min.)

Painter Jean Michel Basquiat rises from homeless street artist to New York star before succumbing to a tragic end in the Campout Cinema screening of Basquiat (1996).

A struggling artist with a unique eye, Jean Michel Basquiat’s world is turned upside down when he makes friends with New York’s pop art sensation Andy Warhol (David Bowie). While his work skyrockets to fame, the young artist battles an addiction to drugs and struggles to keep his identity.

Includes admission to Bowie by Mick Rock.
