In an increasingly fragmented world, pop culture is a universal language through which we can build connections. The Museum of Pop Culture creates both a physical space and an intellectual and emotional opportunity for people from every background to explore, find community, and recognize their own creative potential.
POP+ Unites, presented by First Tech Federal Credit Union, celebrates pop culture’s ability to bring people together, especially during uncertain and distressing times. As 2020 comes to a close, we're bringing you an array of content that bridges the physical distance and keeps us connected.
As part of POP+ Unites, presented by First Tech Federal Credit Union, we’re asking our followers and audience to share photos, videos, or thoughts on social media of moments in pop culture from 2020 that reminded them about the importance of building connections and coming together.
For all its flaws and frustrations, 2020 had plenty of pop culture moments that helped us unite during a difficult time. There were award shows and reunion specials, rock battles and moving tributes, plus so - many - things - to stream.
So, as 2020 comes to a close, we invite you to share some of the most impactful pop culture moments you experienced this past year. Using the hashtag #MoPOP on social media, or by mentioning one of our accounts (find us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) in one of your public posts, let us know what pop culture moments reminded you about the importance of building connection and coming together. We'll curate the responses we receive in the social media stream embedded below!
