Dr. Jorge N. Leal is an urban and cultural historian whose research focuses on how youth culture producers and participants have reshaped the urban space in the transnational Latina/o/x communities in Southern California. Dr. Leal is also the curator of The Rock Archivo LÁ, an online repository that collects, shares, and examines L.A. Latina/o/x youth cultures ephemera. Dr. Leal is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar and Teaching Fellow at the University of Southern California.
