Homeschool Day
The Science of Sound and Music

MoPOP offers a unique opportunity for homeschooled students and their families to participate in thematic, hands-on experiences centered on the museum’s exhibits and content. Join us this January for a super-sonic Homeschool Day focused around the science of sound. Led by ethnomusicologist, Ph.D., and rock guru Rob Carroll, this workshop, designed especially for homeschool families, will delve into the science behind how sound is created, transmitted, and perceived by our ears. The day will feature a two-hour hands-on workshop, a galley activity in our interactive Sound Lab space, and time to visit the MoPOP galleries.
