Dir. Ernest R. Dickerson (1992, R, 95 min.)
Four Harlem teens get caught up in a dangerous game while pursuing respect and power in the Campout Cinema screening of Juice (1992).
Q, Bishop, Steel, and Raheem decide to rob a grocery store in an attempt to gain respect, what they call “juice.” When the robbery takes a lethal turn, the young men must decide who they trust and where their loyalties lie. Can Q and his friends navigate the dangers of the streets while battling between themselves?
This early ‘90s film features Tupac Shakur in his first starring role as Bishop.
