The Puppet Master franchise now has a presence at the Museum of Pop Culture.

Four puppets from the horror film series that has more than 10 installments spanning the past three decades are now on display — no strings attached — inside MoPOP's Scared to Death: The Thrill of Horror Film exhibition, courtesy of the Kurt Root Collection.

Tunneler and Blade from Puppet Master X: Axis Rising (2012) sit on one side of the Scared to Death case, with Leech Woman and Pinhead from Puppet Master: Axis Termination (2017) propped up on the other.

If you're unfamiliar with the Puppet Master franchise, each puppet has been animated by an Egyptian curse and equipped with its own unique and dangerous devices, which are typically used to carry out the bidding of each film's villains, although the puppets are also portrayed as heroes and antiheroes at times.

Of the puppets on display at MoPOP, Blade has weapons for hands — a knife-blade for one hand and a hook for the other, while Pinhead relies on brute strength. Tunneler has a cone-shaped power drill for a scalp (we'll let you guess what he does with that) and the aptly-named Leech Woman regurgitates blood-sucking leeches.
